Terms and Conditions – National Institute of Fire Safety Engineering and Management
Welcome to the National Institute of Fire Safety Engineering and Management (NIFSEM)! We aim to provide a transparent and smooth experience throughout your journey with us. Kindly review the following terms and conditions:
- Payment and Refund Policy:
Upon successful application, a non-refundable deposit is required, unless otherwise specified. All final payments made are non-refundable. The decision of the Institute regarding staffing and accommodation costs is final, as they are fixed expenses.
- Cancellation Policy:
No refunds will be issued after full or partial fees (including deposit and balance) have been paid, except under exceptional circumstances. The deposit is non-refundable due to the fixed costs associated with staffing and accommodation.
- Application Accuracy:
Applicants must provide accurate personal history, background information, and reasons for enrolling in the course. Any inaccuracies or fraudulent claims may result in dismissal from the course.
- Course Completion and Additional Charges:
Course fees are contingent upon satisfactory completion of all assessments. Failure to complete assignments within the specified timeframe may incur additional charges for an extension. Withdrawal and re-entry into moderation will require payment of an additional fee.
- Certificate Dispatch:
Certificates will be dispatched free of charge within India and Thailand. A nominal fee will be applied for courier services to other countries.
- Institutional Status:
The National Institute of Fire Safety Engineering and Management (NIFSEM) is a private autonomous institution and is not affiliated with the Ministry of Education, or any governmental body in India, Thailand, or the UK. NIFSEM is not authorized to grant degrees and is not accredited by UGC, AICTE, or any other regulatory body in India.

Our institution is recognized as an Approved Training Centre under Gramin Skill Development Mission, an Approved ITP under Sikkim Alpine University, and a member of various educational associations. We are registered under the Trust Act 1882, NITI Aayog/NGO Darpan, and the Ministry of Small, Micro, and Medium Enterprises. Our quality management system is certified under ISO 9001:2015.
