The National Institute of Fire Safety Engineering and Management is proudly accredited by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). The government owns 49% of NSDC, and the private sector owns the remaining 51%. NSDC’s main goal is to encourage the development of skills by supporting the creation of large, high-quality vocational institutions. They provide funding for vocational training programs and work on ensuring quality and support systems. NSDC acts as a catalyst by funding enterprises and organizations involved in skill training, and it collaborates with partners to develop effective models. With a focus on 37 sectors, NSDC makes each sector attractive for private investment, contributing significantly to skill development in the country.

It aims to address the gap in employability skills among Indian graduates by focusing on both technical and generic skills. MEPSC plans to train and certify a large number of individuals over the next decade and emphasizes the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in creating job opportunities.
